Celebrity Chef Gürkan Sef, Turkey’s first certified butcher, popularly known as the ‘Meat Artist’ opened his first restaurant, Gürkan Sef Steakhouse at Nişantaşı, Istanbul in 2014, followed by another restaurant at Etiler in May 2017. A vision to open a truly international steakhouse was conceptualized at a nascent stage during Gürkan’s student life.
